The available space is efficiently used and component placement is optimized for performance while also providing an attractive aerodynamic design.

The composite body provides a 20-40% weight reduction. The body is stronger and more resistant to crashes, minor incidents, salt and other chemicals as well as the elements resulting in a 40%+ longer life. Current transit agencies operating buses with composite bodies have data that demonstrates savings of up to 90% over comparable conventional body repair costs.

The composite body also offers improved safety given the energy absorbing crash-resistant characteristics of the composite structure.
