Proterra COVID-19 Update

To Our Valued Customers:

Today, we are writing to let you know that Proterra continues to manufacture transit buses and batteries to supply the critical needs of public transit while closely abiding by the public health orders where we operate in California and South Carolina.

Our field service and aftermarket parts operations are also up and running to ensure we can support your vehicle needs.  We are shipping parts and providing field service support by phone and video conference.  Travel is restricted and onsite visits are only possible if it is an essential need, a safety review has been completed first and adequate employee protections are available.

This crisis is uncharted territory for us all, and we continue to closely monitor developments and the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on our business.

At Proterra, our number one focus is the safety of our employees. We are limiting access to our facilities to only essential personnel. We have also taken additional measures to deep clean and disinfect our plants regularly and to enforce social distancing at work to the extent practicable. We are following CDC guidelines and local health department orders and have employed staff whose sole purpose is clean and disinfect our facilities daily.

We expect that there will be changes and potential disruptions as we navigate this crisis as a country and global community. In addition to monitoring the health and safety of our workforce, we are in frequent communication with our largely domestic supply chain and will keep our customers informed of impacts to our production schedules and service during this evolving crisis.

Our commitment to you is frequent and regular communication so that we may work through this challenging time together. We are deeply grateful for your partnership with Proterra.

Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation.

Sincerely,

Mike Finnern
