Bay Area Bike to Work Day

On Thursday, May 9, Proterra and the Burlingame Citizens Environmental Council were joined by Burlingame Mayor Donna Colson, Vice Mayor Emily Beach and members of the City Council to support Bay Area Bike to Work Day and promote zero-emission transportation. An Energizer Station was set up at the Burlingame Caltrain station with free snacks and giveaways for cyclists passing by on their morning commute. The Energizer Station was sponsored by the Citizens Environmental Council (CEC) of Burlingame  and Proterra, a designer and manufacturer of electric vehicle technology for heavy-duty transportation, headquartered in Burlingame.
