SAN JOSE, CA β€” Mayor Sam Liccardo led the commissioning of a fleet of 10 eco-friendly electric courtesy buses at Mineta San Jose International Airport a few weeks ago.

The zero-emission buses designed as a courtesy to passengers and their luggage between airport parking lots, the rental car garage and terminals were manufactured by Proterra of Burlingame.

During a May 3 ceremony, Liccardo introduced the fleet of all-electric buses deployed as the first at a California airport and among the largest in the United States.
